European Vacation
The US has its wide open spaces - Europe has its history and culture. You can see a dozen countries in a couple weeks, but you can still spend years touring and not see everything. Europe is a great combination for us --- plenty of amazing photography opportunties for Ian, and all the history and art that Kelly has studied and loved.
We had our first (and hopefully not last) introduction to Europe in November 2001 when we visited our brother and sister-in-law, Erik and Julie, who were stationed in Germany. The trip took us through parts of Germany and France, with a detour to Disneyland Paris. Although this trip was pre-digital camera, we have now digitalized our pictures and documented the trip for the website. We are anxiously awaiting our next opportunity to visit Europe, but for now we have wonderful memories of our 2001 vacation.
